Bee Swarm Removal

Are bees swarming outside your property? – Don’t panic

If you have a swarm of bees lingering around your property, it’s important to move them on quickly. If they are not relocated on the same day, they may decide to relocate there permanently.

How to identify a swarm?

A swarm of bees is a fascinating sight and will be hard to miss. In fact, it could even appear to be quite overwhelming at first. They will congregate in their hundreds, if not thousands, travelling with their queen to find a new place to build a hive. When they settle to rest or investigate an area, they will do so in tight clusters. Swarming bees are not usually dangerous, but you should leave disturbing them to an experienced professional.

Why do you need to move a bee swarm on?

Because the bees are looking for a new place to call home, it’s important to move them on from your property early on. Whether this is on your building or a tree directly outside of it, it’s better to move them to a secure location sooner rather than later before they have started to build a new hive. The detrimental effects of bees colonising and creating honeycomb within your property are not worth the risk.
